Lusterboard^® is a hardwood core sandwiched between two aluminum sheets and then coated and baked with an acrylic paint.  Lusterboard^® is lighter than MDO Plywood and a little bit stronger.  White is the standard color but the board also comes in 11 other special order colors.  The board comes in thicknesses of ¼" and ½".
